Farringdon Row Masterplan
The Farringdon Row site in Sunderland is a dramatic site which sits on a rock outcrop bove and to the South of the river Wear. The object of this masterplan is to fit this dramatic site into the framework of urban design and regeneration for Sunderland as envisaged by Sunderland Arc.
A truly mixed community will be designed to be durable and sustainable over many generations. It will allow for changing social and economic needs, and provide adaptable and flexible living and working environments which are not fixed in single use or single occupier roles.
